Fall at Clifty Falls

Here is the last of the images from Clifty Falls Sate Park that I was able to capture of fall this year. Once again I can’t state enough on how beautiful Clifty Falls State Park, located near Madison Indiana is, if you only get a chance to visit one  Indiana Sate Park this coming year definitely make it Clifty Falls.

I captured these images along the road that travels above Clifty Canyon, just walking along the road is a wonderful hike in its self, the colors were beautiful and the scene down into the gorge makes for a lovely walk on a brisk fall afternoon.

If you are more adventurous you can hike down into the gorge but the only problem with that is you have to hike back up lol !! The best time to hike into the canyon is in the spring when the water and all the beautiful wildflowers are at their peak, there are not that many places in the Midwest that put on a wildflower show like Clifty does.
