Burning Blanket Flower

This is a shot from a blanket flower(Gaillardia) that I took before I planted it in my garden, shot this extremely shallow(2.8) to try to get the burning effect I was after. I really like the effect and the color explosion it created, Thanks for stopping buy and taking a look.

  3. I love the red, yellow and orange warm colors intermixed, it really makes this photo pop. A photo I would like to see of the mornings as I wake up or in a sun room.

  4. I shot a couple more like this that I will post sometime in the future, these are neat little plants, they have a lot of strong color in them.

  6. Hey Bernie…just exploring some archives. Wanted to see what last June looked like. 🙂

I grow Gaillardia, too, and this is a gorgeous interpretation of that colorful plant. Love the “explosion”!
