Lily Stamen

This is a stamen from a lily that I brought home earlier this spring, this is the same lily that I got the sensual curve image from, I tried to keep this one simple with lots of color and single focus point. I think I got pretty close to what I was after, I really like the simple shots that don’t make you think too much, hope you enjoy the outcome. BTW have a great holiday tomorrow.

  3. The texture is really nice against the soft background. Really nice to get to experience this texture so closely.

  5. Wow, very nice work Bernie – what kind of lens and settings did you use? curious to see your EXIF data, Jefferey’s online EXIF viewer was not able to get it from the image. I love how simple and yet powerful and serene this photo is.

  6. Bernie, I’ve seen a lot of stamen photos, but this just about tops them. It’s beautiful not only in color, but in clarity. LOVELY work!

  7. Thanks for all the comments folks, Ankush I used a sigma 150 macro, shot 2.8, at around 1/50 I think if not pretty close. I am not real good with my tech details so you will have to excuse me if I am not exactly right. I am always in a hurry.
