“Madison Indiana Wildflowers”

Wow, what a whirlwind the last three weeks has been …since I last posted I have had 7 Senior Portrait sessions, shot a wonderful artists work from here in Madison Indiana and then spent 6 days in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park photographing wildflowers !!

I have actually got a minute or two to sit down and share a few more shots of the great wildflower bloom from  Clifty Falls State Park, the only disappointing thing in this years bloom is how fast it happened and then ended, other then that this has been  one of the best I have witnessed especially down in the Smokys which I will post about later.

Here are a few more examples of the beautiful flowers that I photographed in Clifty Falls State Park..Garlic Mustard, White Trillium and Squirrel Corn. All three are very neat and unique flower that grows in our area and all are beautiful in their own little way as well !!

I hope you enjoy viewing these wonderful little wildflowers as much as I did photographing them and if you get a chance check back in later to see the flowers from the East Tennessee Mountains, hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by !!

  1. I especially like the lovely Trillium image. Graceful. We have been pulling up garlic mustard as we consider it an invasive.

  3. Sounds exciting. It’s nice you were able to get away for a week and spend time in the Smokey Mountains. We were there last year at this time. They really do smoke! And I am looking forward to hearing more about your exploits! As well as seeing what you do with these flowers.

  4. Beautiful photos, so clear and crisp. Nice work! I particularly liked the Squirrel Corn; it looks like Bleeding Heart.
