Fall Leaves

Here are a couple more macro shots I captured of leaves this fall at Clifty Falls State Park in Madison Indiana. Instead of large landscape images I tied isolating leaves just to capture the detail and patterns in the beautiful fall leaves.

When you look closely at the leaf, all the intricate lines and patterns begin to appear, the thicker veins in the stem also add a cool touch to the vivid colors in the subject. Even the little spots of deterioration add a neat aspect to the image, making for some great macro photography.

Fall leaves also make a great subject because you can pretty much put them where you want …not like the tree they fell from lol !!

So if your looking for something to shoot this fall and want something a bit different pull out that Macro lenn and find some beautiful leaves to shoot and add them to your portfolio !!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look !

  1. The first photo has a lot of appeal for me. It’s a rather wistful shot.
