Fall Cascade

A serene scene from Clifty Falls State Park in Madison Indiana. Warm fall light helps to create a very peaceful mood in this image I captured at the park. There are many much larger and more photogenic falls here but this one always brings me back for a visit because of its solitude and peacefulness it exudes.

Stairway to Heaven

Here is an image form last year it won’t be long now till I will be able to get out and capture more images like this. With all the rain we have received this summer and early fall it might just turn out to be a very pretty time here in the Madison Indiana area.

All we need now are cold nights with beautiful warm blue bird skies during the day and I think it will all come together for a spectacular fall season.

I captured this last year at Clifty Falls State Park, Clifty is an absolutely wonderful place to view fall colors and to photograph the amazing scenery the park has to offer. Summer might not be quite over but soon we will be able to enjoy many lovely scene like this at the park and all around southern Indiana.

Little Clifty Bridge

I was hiking at Clifty Falls State Park near Madison Indiana when I came across this beautiful scene. I caught the sun as it slid beneath the rugged hillside that surrounds Little Clifty Falls and the bridge that spans it. Timing is such a major player in photography and once again I ended up at the right place at the right time !!

A Million Miles Away

Sitting here listening to Duran Duran feeling like I am a million miles away from everything, missing being in the mountains with the warm moist sensations of the lush forests of wildflowers that blanket the mountainside.  Sitting here enduring another dark cold Indiana winter evening wishing the landscape would turn green and bring back the vivid color display that breathes life back into these old bones…Turning 50 sucks lol !!
